Employment Tribunal Awards
What is an employment tribunal award?
An employment tribunal award is an Award made following the outcome of an employment tribunal hearing where it is found that the employer does owe money to an employee. Since 2009 these awards can be passed for enforcement to High Court Enforcement Officers, who will manage the process for you.
ACAS Awards follow an agreed settlement reached during your arbitration talks held at ACAS (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service), which like an employment tribunal award can be enforced by High Court Enforcement Officers.
As a result of a change in the law in 2009, it is now possible for employment tribunal awards or ACAS settlements to be enforced using High Court Enforcement Officers.

If you would like to instruct us to act on your behalf, please complete the online form and post to us a copy of your award with a cheque for £60 (payable to Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Services - HMCTS) to cover your court fee using the below address. We can then transfer the action to the High Court for enforcement by one of our High Court Enforcement Officers.
