Traveller evictions: Repossessions of land or property

Traveller evictions: Repossessions of land or property

What are repossessions of land or property?

A landowner has the common law remedy to evict trespassers without the need of a court order.

How can Marston help?

This service is provided by our Burlington division who will attend the site the same day a notice is served to the illegal trespassers. Trespassers will be informed that they have 24 hours to remove from the land. If the illegal trespassers do not move from the land within 24 hours, Burlington can use reasonable force to evict them.

We have many years’ experience enforcing evictions in a variety of circumstances. However, there are considerations that need to be taken into account when planning an eviction. This includes; health and safety, the type of premises and whether police support is required.
